I'm pretty optimistic, so I voted mid-October. That's what I hope for...Although this poll seems to be for what we THINK is the release date, but it's gonna turn into a "what we hope" poll anyway.

Dougy, are you just being sarcastic? Because at this point, there are no signs of the game slipping to 2005. They are pre-loading the game already, what would be the point of pre-loading it at least 4 months before it's in the stores

I'm kinda hoping early to mid-November (and this is on a personal level) because i wanna be able to save up enough money to update my computer (new motherboard and cpu) and install it all before the game comes out so that i don't start playing it till later, and someone has already beaten the game and says spoilers all about it (I can't resist spoilers! that's another one of my problems) so don't yell at me for saying this... i need time to get money, i'm only 15.

i was at GameStop and i pre-ordered HL2 and they told me the computer said late november...

Use the money you already saved up for burnout 3 or something you'll still have enough time to get hl2 cause they probably meant late november of the year my childrens children graduate from college

I think valve or vivendi has told many online or offline stores an estimated release date and not told us, because we will go berserk and flour bomb their apartments

Always thought it'll be late september, but with an RC on sept. 15th it won't cath this date.
I play cs:s and in my opinion it's close to be what valve wnt it to be. With every update the fps got better and at this point it is absolutely playable and i don't see any more bugs at the moment.

So i think that mid october will be a realistic aim.
