NEW GRAPHICS:
The game still uses the ancient Quake 2 engine (5 years old!) but Gearbox has somehow managed to make CZ look good. The game supports high-res textures, 32-bit color, and trilinear filtering. There are also new, high-geometry character models and weapons. This doesn't make CZ look as good as Doom 3, but it still stands up pretty well for today's standards. And this graphical update is only available to people who buy CZ, not those who just download the free updates
 
That page USED to show "reviews" of Half-Life 2. But they seem to just be reviews of Half-Life and commerically released mods now. I think Amazon changed them.

There were lots of them about Half-Life 2, one mentioned Biozemides. (They can make themselves look good).
 
Think it might be Amazon's fault, not the reviewers. There are posts there from 2002- before Amazon had a product page for HL2. Looks like they scooped up a bunch of comments for HL1 and CS:CZ (why?) and dumped them in HL2 to give it some weight. Truly bizarre.

-nvidia Gforce2 Video Card (or any nvidia and no VooDoo)
 
HL uses the Quake 1 engine mate
