There was a report this screensaver may have been infected with a virus. Therefor Im not going to keep it on here. The original flash files used in it are avaliable still if you want to make them a screensaver yourself. Some people have found no evidence of a virus, but if you downloaded please try the anti-virus software mentioned later in this thread, it really is quite good. Im sorry if it did come from my file.

it's pretty cool, mainly because I've been lusting for some HL2 content to decorate my desktop with... this screensaver is a nice and stylish addition to that.

The only gripes I have are.. at my particular resolution (1600x1200), there is some tearing in the graphics as is plays. Also, it spins just a tad fast. I think something a little slower, or giving the option to control the speed would be a nice feature. Other than that? It could probably be improved even more if there was a little more to it. Maybe a background?

This Screensaver is so cool thanks SirMcNugget

sweet, ill try installing it but my stupid sis might take it off and put one of those shitty windows screen savers on

pretty good, glad to see other people actually know how to use Swift3d

warning this file contains a virus. W32/CTX on the uninstall exe

i suggest you install a virus checker & clean your hard drive & say sorry to these people who now have the virus by the looks of it.

& if you are using a virus checker what sort?

whoa whoa what? are you serious? Im gona take it down untill I investigate that... Your saying the installer did it, or what? If thats true then Im sorry... I didn't know I used a free Flash>screensaver maker.... Im gona need to freaking scan my system to. Crap.

see this site for info on the virus.

Description
W32/CTX-A is a Win32 executable file virus. A polymorphic Windows virus, it uses several techniques designed to evade detection by anti-virus software products.

If the current day and hour are the same as those at the time of infection, and the current month is six months after the month of infection, then the virus will change the Desktop background colour.

yes im serious. well my virus checker found this virus anyway. looks like the others did not.

I hate the damn internet and its freaking bullshit. Who the hell sits around all day thinking how can I piss off as many people as possible today. GAH!

its sad i know. but you just gotta be well protected these days. over 800 new viruses found each month. you need firewalls, virus checkers, pop up stoppers the lot these days.

my virus pretector(PC-cilliin) didnt detect anything, i did a check on the file and the whole comp. and nothing was found . i also have a firewall(zone-alarm) i got rid of ur screen savor, un fortanately...sry sir.

mmm well like the details say. (it uses several techniques designed to evade detection by anti-virus software products.)

tic you sure it was just this file?

Maybe you have the viri and it invected the file. If other people don't have it then that might been what happend.

That was a great SS thx for making it. I never DL'ed the .exe I just used the .swf one with Novel Flash Screen Saver(used to be littlepeter) It just plays .swf flash files from the web or on your PC.

If anyone wants that get info and DL here

I ran AntiVir Personal Edition to and it didnt find it to be infected. Im still not going to put it back up because I want to be sure but that particular program found nothing.
