Thats a pretty awesome case, maybe they should make that the box the HL2 collectors edition ships in... or not... i dont have that kinda money, plus, ive never really felt a need for a cool computer case, but it would be pretty sweet to have one

NICE, I love how it looks all rusty!!! And the lights and junk just enhance the effect.

And BTW, my friend just won the lottery, and is buying me and him a BUNCH of new top of the line hardware. (Video cards, Motherboards, Memory, PCU's and Processors.)

seriously, give me a cream coloured case without a ton of rust and useless junk on it any day.

what is the point of "pretty" cases?

they just sit under your desk and do nothing, the only part of your computer you ever look at is the Screen.


Modding cases is about as useless as Modding rice trucks.

It's a pretty nice case, but the moment I saw it I thought it was themed on Fallout rather than HL. It really would fit better as a Fallout case.

Like Mr.Magnetichead said, people do take pride in their case.
They mod their comps to look awesome and take them to computer conventions and Lan parties like QuakeCon, Million Man Lan, or Lanwar (www.lanwar.com <--- if you are in the Louisville area or want to go to a big ass lanparty then sign up for the next MML. I'll be there as [THS]Anthraxxx). They enter PC Mod contests to get cool prizes and have other people say "Wow!" And when they have showcased their PC enough, they start on a new case because it's something that they enjoy doing.

wow there are a lot of haters of computer modding in this thread. I dont know why tho, its really no different then spending hours working on a car.

Here's an answer to why people mod. I personally feel that I should not HAVE to have some manufactured (ex. DELL) black or nasty off-white case that you throw somewhere and let it fry from dust or start to smell. I'd like to have something unique, especially for what money is put into it in the first place. Besides, why have something ugly in any room? It makes no sense!

I like the rust, the dials, and the hl2 logo lighting.
not sure about the water cooling, though it is a neat idear.
and I don't like some stuff that looks loose, like wires.

But i think its still a pretty cool case : ) don't mind my nitpicking
