Hey guys i just finished making a Half-Life 2 DVD filled with some trailers. Some videos like kliners lab couldnt go into the cd because of codec preoblems but this is what it looks like. Tell me what you think

DVD Image

what is your retail price for this DVD?

lol its almost finished this is what its gonna look like so far and i dont think im gonna sell, its posted to see what you guys think of it.

would updating your codecs fix your codec problem?

nope because nero burning rom doesnt support codec videos

There's a guy selling DVDs/CDs like this on eBay. They also come with a Doom 3 trailer. Seriously.

Selling something like this would be against copyright laws, I'm sure.

throw in the hl2 beta on your dvd for a bonus, and people might want to buy that

hey estevan, could you post a link to where you got your Windows skin?

I'd buy it... 56k ya'know, hehe. But nah. I've seen 'em all already. :)

I'm puzzled as to why G0rgon is still here, and not banned (like his 5 clones before him :/)

on topic: You could improve your menu a little, doesn't really look all that professional :/
Other than that, I bet it's kinda cool to have the vids on DVD (if one only owned a DVD-player :( ). Is the quality ok on the TV?

that is pretty cool. I wouldn't buy it....but I think you said you weren't selling it anyways..right?

gj though..

I tried burning a movievlip as VCD once, didn't work... the sound got horribly out of sync, and the picture quality was utter crap :(
I used Nero, and by the looks of it, you do too. I'm gonna have to find a program that let's me do things my way, Nero is way too bossy for me :p

TMPGEnc is the best program to convert movies to S/VCD standards, I've burned countless movies to SVCD after converting with TMPGEnc, great program

Paying for programs that are "easy" to use sucks.

There are plenty of Freeware/Shareware programs (such as TMPGEnc, DVD Shrink, etc) that do the job, plus, since it's mostly manual, you get better picture quality as the end result

paying? who's paying? I got my copy free with the computer :p

anyway, freeware/shareware is always best, I know that... I just haven't had the need for a program like that, since I have no DVD-player :/

U know there are sites that have serials :) i would say it here but i dont want to get banned

Everyone knows about illegal sites like that, Estevan :)

lol, anyhow, understood Nathaniel :) Was just saying

hey shuzzer, can u burn svcd's onto dvdr, without encoding the video? i dont wanna lose picture quality.
