All they said was 'a supprise', yet you get your hopes up to a level I can't possibly understand. Then you'll be (1) crushed and (2) angry when it's something less exciting than (for example) HL2 multiplayer.

I think we got the update as my steam monitor says HL2 updated to 100%. I think the stuttering is a little better on my machine, but not much.

But anyways, you guys have a bad memory , if you remember, they said that new models will be released in december, so expect 2 more models for CS:S -thats more likely the present

Hey, if noone said anything around here it would be kinda boring wouldn't it? :smoking: And don't forget freedom of speech, as long as you follow the rules. Anyways, I don't seem to have any stu stu stuttering problem other than me. :naughty: Remember to check your side of things, adjust your game or video card settings and see if it makes a difference.

As you say, they have said there will be two new models. So that wouldn't be much of a surprise, apart from being a bit early.

And although people seem to be getting a bit carried away with what it could be, I hope its something nice we weren't expecting.

im hoping its an interface update so we can have some hl2mp without the dodgy console commands. it could be offline play with bots for css... they said they'd include the cz bots in regular css, but then again... Valve say allot of things...

I think it could be HL2MP... I had a thought yeah... that when they release the SDK and sourcecode, they'll have no problems releasing the HL2 game source as a template for making SP mods. But what will they give out as source code for people wanting to make MP mods? They don't wanna give out the CS:S code because it was never open-source. So they make a multiplayer HL2 game to keep us happy and to give us source code for.
