Planet Half-Life has had the pleasure to run through four of the levels found in Decay, and they are, so far, very impressed by it. I'm glad that it's shaping up to be a fantastic port! :)

Great news :) I never actually completed it (even though I had a PS2 and Half-Life) so am certainly one of those looking forward to this!

Two new screens.

*Ignore the HUD in the first screen*

They must nearly be finished then if the first four levels are totally done.

So is this like a port of HL-Decay for the PS2 or sommat?

This is the port FROM the PS2 version, yeah.

Does anyone know if you will be able to play on steam with people over the net or is it co-op with someone in the room or via LAN?

I'm looking forward to playing this. It's the only HL game I've never played.

It was good, the only let down was the single-player mode. Some areas weren't even acsessble without a friend pressing duck.

Decay was meant to be played co-operatively, even if you could play single. Playing without a friend was a challenge more difficult than walking on lava barefoot.

If I remember rightly in single player, your partner would still shoot at enemies.

Yes, but the bot would not follow you around. It forced you to continuously change character back and fourth, which of course made it extremely tedious after 5 minutes of playing.

That would drive me freaking NUTS.

I couldn't really play it...I just can't find enjoyment in FPS consoles.
