I wasn't really sure where to post this so, excuse me if it needs to be moved.

I have had so many HL-related dreams, it's ridiculous. One that sticks out most is I dreamed I was Gordon (and had a huge crush on Alyx), of course, and Alyx and I were in some dilapidated building kinda like the places you see in Follow Freeman and Anticitizen One. Anyway, she and I were getting tired from fighting enemies so we decided to get some sleep for the night. We found a secluded room with one tiny cot, so I let her take the cot and I slept beside it on the gravelly floor. Anticlimactic, I know, but it was adorable in the dream. v:stare:v

But! What sparked this thread was the cool dream I had last night.

I was in some big museum watching some educational film in a small auditorium (something my parents would have dragged me to when I was little).

Well! I just happened to look over to my right and ****ing G-Man was standing there at the end of the isle! I was like, "Eww.." and he bowed his head slightly and smirked creepily. I was like, "Guh! Creepy mofo..." Then I looked in the row behind me and Eli was sitting there! I was like, "What the--! I thought you were dead!" I looked back at G-Man and Eli saw him too. Eli leaned over to me to tell me some stuff. One thing he told me was to look at what happened to him as something Alyx needed to "get stronger' or some BS like that. I was like, "Aww ;.;"

Then he told me that I'd be seeing a new young lady soon (as in, in Ep3) and he thought I might like that. I was like, "oooh, I bet I know who it is!" (Chell)

And then I woke up.

Alright, damnit, share you awesome HL dreams! I know I'm not the only one. :E
 
This sounds sweet, but so far you're the only one. :(

My dreams are not descriptive at all and never seem to have no meaning, just a bunch of random **********
 
I rarely remember my dreams, so I might have had hundreds about HL and not know. But I did have one about a week ago that I remembered.
I was on these forums and somebody had posted a spoiler for Ep3 - a picture of the contents of G-Man's briefcase, which as it turns out was just a costume for one of the HL1 Marines. The funniest thing was my reaction, now I go, "WTF?" but in the dream I was like, "OMG, that's awesome!".
 
I have Half-Life dreams a lot too.

Once when my alarm went off and my mom was yelling at me from the other room to wake up (I thought she was GLaDOS), I was half asleep and thought I was waking up from the relaxation vault.

LOL relaxation vault. I'm to say that for now on. Someone be like "hey wanna chill" and i'll go "no, going to my relaxation vault." :|
 
I've had a few, but the only one I remember involved the SLAMs quite alot.
 
the one in the museum with Eli seemed crazy. I've heard about people haveing dreams about plane crashes and then they'd come true about a week later. Mabye you just experianced a spoiler for Ep.3! it would be awesome to actually meet chell. Mabye Valve is testing their "dream-maker" which they use to tell people about upcomeing games... PICK ME!!! I WANT TO KNOW!!! go ahead gabe! shoot meh wit some KNOLEDGE!!!:p
 
Only Half-Life dreams I've had were strictly reality based stuff. Like finding a previously unknown Expansion or OMFG awesome Beta version at a Car-boot sale, or finding shipping prices for the stuff at the Valve Store that don't completely suck (I'd love to own the two lithographs they've released). My dreams are typically that mundane, but I think that's just because:

A. I tire my imagination out during the day and it needs a goddamned rest.
B. I clock unreality too quickly, so all that I stay awake for is what seems somewhat plausible (even when I really want to continue the unreal dream!)
 
I vaguely recall something about rebels handling hazardous materials using gravity guns, and joining them in an assault on a skyscraper.

Then my vortigaunt friend and I had an argument with the dead general's parrot.
 
I had a Portal dream the night after I played it the first time.

I had a portal gun, of course, but what was weird (and pretty darn cool) was that I could change the size of the second portal it would fire, and then when I went through I would change size to match the portal. As in, I'd fire a normal size portal, then fire a tiny one, go through the normal one, and come out the tiny one a few inches tall, and vice versa. It was neat.
 
My dreams consist of me flying over shopping isles in Big W or Kmart.
 
Had a Half-Life dream on Monday morning. Wasn't going to bring it up though. Most of it's been forgotten by now, but basically I dreamt I was a Vortigaunt. Was really kwl.

Got into work late because of it :p.

And woot! Pinkle on Alyx action!
 
Pinkle that was not a dream, it was obviously a NIGHTMARE!!!

The G-Man is scary shit, I woulda freaked if he was eyeing me from the corner of my eye.
 
I used to have the original Half-life Klaxon alarm sound as my alarm on my phone to wake me up, but thats as far as it goes.
 
Never had a Half-Life dream, at least one that I remember.
 
We see dreams every day but we just don't seem to remember them. Nothing. I bet I had 5-15 zombie based nightmares, since I play on Zombie Survival on Gmod.
 
I havn't had any Half-Life related reams, but I did have a dream after reading a bunch of the HL2.net Zombie Con votes.. and there were zombies.. and we killed them.. and then we died. It was weird.

Who knows? Maybe Pinkle is hot?

I wish I had uber HL zombie fighting, g-man killing, headcrab eating, vortigaunt poking, synchronised HL2 DM dancing dreams... I only have dreams where I'm killing aliens alongside friends and family with wooden spoons and shotguns... the aliens look like they came from an X-Files episode and me and my friends killed them with, yes, wooden spoons that we stole from Wal-Mart...
 
I haven't had many HL themed dreams, at least not many that I recall, but I did have a strange one last night. I dreamt that I had the gravity gun in an art gallery and I was going crazy with it. I work in an art gallery and right before getting the gravity gun I was dreaming that I was late for work...so apparently that turned into having a gravity gun and destroying all the work I didn't like. Oh yeah, and for some reason I was wading through radioactive sludge while doing it. o_O

Well, I actually had a HL2 dream 'segment', in which my girlfriend and I were in a small utilitarian office requesting transfer to City 18. The worker helping us was in the standard blue coveralls but seemed waaay to happy for someone in the HL universe. Anyway, I remember saying that my girfriend was pregnant, and that we wanted to move so our child would be a 'Londonite', my dream apparently keeping with the Euro-theme in HL2.
Weird, I know, but it was fun too!
 
I usually can't remember my dreams, and the ones I can are mostly nightmares.

A week ago, I had this wierd dream.. as follows:

I was dreaming of Gordon in 3rd person view and all of a sudden he gets killed by a sniper, (he makes the Male_07 dying sound) he then falls on a railing awkwardly. One minute later Alyx sees him, panics and holds him, and says something like -"Not you too Gordon! You can't leave me!" and weeps over his dead body.

Then seconds later, a image of G-man is seen amongst the stars and he proceeds to say "Time to wake up Dr. Freeman, as time waits for you."

Weird dream, eh?
 
I dreamed that I was a rebel fighting in the streets, then I planted a time bomb at the citadel, I realized that I only had 3 seconds left until it blows up. Suddenly everything froze in typical G-Man manner, but instead of him, Dr. House was limping out of nowhere to me and said "You failed. Good Bye." Then everything blew up.

Weird.
 
Every time i have a HL related dream its saving Alyx... and me struggling to do so lol.


ooo and another dream i had was when ben kingsley was the g-man in his famous sexy beast role as Don.

it was like=

G-man: u gunna do the job freeman?

Me: No.

G-man: f*ck off, w*nker, you're doin' it.

Ok, you guys need to stop playing Half-Life :p. My dreams aren't that involved, and the only ones I do have are vaguely connected, like I'm running down a Half-Life corridor, or I meet an alien from Half-Life.
 
OMFG

I had a dream just tonight. My second ever hl2 dream. What a freaking coincidence for a few people to have dreams about hl2 at the same time.

Well, in my dream, it was night near some housed up area with a Nova Prospekt feel. In the first part of my dream, I entered a factory where zombie cutting wheels were being made. The machinery was not moving. Then I saw Gman walk ontop of one of the moving conveyer belts. I chased him but he kept running with his briefcase, his back facing me. Then the dream ended.

In the second part, I was with a bunch of citizens, sitting on a chair playing some cards and drinking, when combine soldiers attacked us from our old broken down room. I jumped out of a room and remember seeing citizens running everywhere, it was night as well, in an old Lane with buildings on both sides. Then, I ran quite a bit, until I saw an old dumpster overturned, there was cement everywhere. I climbed on top of it, and saw combine soldiers firing at citizens. Then, all of a sudden, and APC came rushing at me and smashed into the dumpster and I was sent flying at the soldiers.

I swear all of this is true. It was AMAZING I tell you. I am going to draw it out and show you all what I really experienced...
 
I've had some Half-Life dreams, best was about having a Half-Life Bible (but Laidlaw said in that dream it's more similar to Upanishads, I have no idea why) or something like Raising the Bar Two filled with awesome artworks of new things, explanations, equations, GLaDOS commands, etc.

Last week I've had dream in which I founded with Aperture Science some new foundation and Aperture Science Nature & Science Museum.
 
Once, I had a dream where I was a headcrab who wanted to be a famous singer/actor. Long story short; I died.
 
I Lol'd... and don't make the story short!!! I like long stories, and that sounds great!
 
I usually only dream about half life if I've been playing it for a few hours and then go to sleep directly after.

But when I do it's just me killin stuff with my trusty shotgun.

Many a headcrab has died in my foggy dreams.
 
Riga under attack by Combine synths (mostly Striders and Gunships). I clearly remember running trough an abandoned mall while a pack of Hunters were right behind me.
 
i remember a dream of playing fetch with Dog.....only we were throwing alyx......
 
I had a weird dream, it was like a music video thing.. (Spoilers ahead I warn you)














Will Smiths song "nod ya head" the intro begins, and it basically flys into the anomalous materials desk where he was sitting in EP2 he shouts "Come on!"
and he's flying on some glider that the hob-goblin/Green Goblin from spiderman was.
Some crazy shit...
