I'm really curiou. alyx, dr.judith and Eli did died at the end of the game right? after that huge explosion.
if they did, would that have a huge effect on the story of half life 3?


anyway, whatever it is, i sure hope the gman or some other guy save them. Would love to see them appear on hl3

Mossman & Eli could have survived, Mossman probably knows the quickest way out of the citadel, but still I doubt it. Barney, Kleiner and Lamarr had better survive.

Because its a trilogy, they need to wrap up a LOT of things that were left unsaid in hl2 and 1. Do you think they are going to kill barney, eli, kliner, alyx, and lamarr? Why do you tjonl the flood made a comeback in halo2? They are all too big in the story to just all get killed like that. Half life 3 will have them

if you LOOK at just the size of the citidel and to think its like a solid chunk of steel / metal then yeah the destruction of an open portal + its genorator would definatly TRASH and MELT the citidel or telaport it into a void or something mabey even open new portal storms (òO0! HL3 mabey) but if the citidel FELL the dust and metal would waste a good part of the city but where kliners lab is it BM east / west etc a good part of the city will still be thare...

No, the game ends before any of that happens.

I do hope they make HL a trillogy. If its a continuing series, we're never gonna get any answers.

Worth mentioning that breen, alyx, and eli appeared to know more about g-man then gordan does. They cuold be in cahoots with him too.

Also, we don't know if the explosion at the pinnacle would destroy everything underneath it.

AND Alyx could die, regardless of whether or not we play as her in the next expansion/sequel. we could play hl2 from her perspective befoer the explosion (ala blue shift/Op For).

Which brings upanother question: How did Eli and Kleiner escape black mesa before it went Kaboom? were they with barney? or were they offered a deal...?

I never thought of that, highly plausable explanation and a great twist...G man cant be tied down to one person surely. I truely believe that Alyx lives...the majority of the community wants to fight along side her another day, would valve be so cruel to deprive us of one more fight
