Hello. My name is Steven "Gothax?" Ziegler, owner of Half Life Insider, HLI.

About Half Life Insider :
Half Life Insider is a premier Half Life/Half Life 2/MOD coverage community in the making. Half Life Insider's main purpose will be to provide not only news posts, but articles including editorials, reviews/previews, and interviews, but also to provide it at a much faster rate than any other site available! HLI ( Half Life Insider ) will remain free to the community, and it will stay that way no matter what occurs. However, to power such a community, we're going to need help from members such as yourself to build HLI to something we'd like to call home to thousands, possibly millions, of users.

What makes HLI different from other publications?
Experience. I, myself, have worked at two of the largest powerhouses in the coverage community - Halflife2.net and HLfallout.net. What does this mean? I, along with two other talented members, know how to capitalize on every single mistake each publication makes, and turn the mistakes against them. Not only do I know how to build a successful community, but I also have three years in the journalism field with jobs ranging from www.mygamer.com to www.gamershell.com.​

Now that you've heard what drives HLI to be a future success, here is what we're currently searching for to add to our already talented staff, and a description of each :

Staff Writer - MUST have prior experience.
The Staff Writer's duty will be to provide the news updates, interviews, previews, reviews, and editorials. Assignments that require a deadline will be frequently handed out, so responsibility is a must. Other nice advantages to have are a great attitude, unrelenting passion to succeed, and determination. PLEASE be responsible!

Coder - Again, MUST have prior experience.
Since I don't really have tons of money to be passing out, most of the work done at HLI will be probono;free. However, since this position is such a stressful position, some rewards might be dealt out. Please have prior experience, as you'll be laying down the foundation towards HLI.

Half Life Insider currently has a domain name ( www.hlinsider.com ), but we're working on a graphics layout to compliment our talent.

Hehe, I'm the only one designing and doing the forums and its very hard for me to do alone (as you can tell). Its looking ok, but it can be better, and will be. We need someone to help design, and someone to write. :cheers:

He couldn't have avoided a double post as 2/3 and 3/3 are eight days apart, and it looks like he found the edit button in the end (he worked here??!!).

I would be interested if I wasn't involved in a slightly similar project, which incidentally seems to better fill a niche/purpose. But, the more and better Modder-orientated services, the merrier.
