besides having steam, the thing is, how goddamn fu*king stupid are you? your copy of whatever online game ur running your dl or cd/dvd is corrupted, you didnt get the standard maps that come with these things, and that error shouldnt come up anyway, if the game has no coded maps, most games or mods dont care, they just sit. i dont gett your error, but you obviously dont have any maps. try importing some

But yes he's right you know, you don't have any maps. Most non-custom servers have sv_autoupload off, therefore the error message appears; or you have an outdated game. If you don't have a legitimate copy of Half-life, we suggest you stop. Otherwise re-download or install the game; if that doesn't work, contact your retailer or steampowered.com.
