I was thinking, wouldn't Half life be good on Wii? It would be so cool! I wouldn't care if it was the 1st or 2nd game, what do you think?

What would the point of that be? Shortly after the wii was released someone had actually adapted the wiimote to play half-life 2. Frankly I don't think it would control or look as good as on a pc tho. I guess if you just like to see games on the wii it'd be nice, but by that logic wouldn't it be good if every game ever made was on the wii?

but that wiimote thing on pc is wierd, and i was talking about either of the 2 games, not just the 2nd

Play SMOD Tatical (mod) for HL2, pretty much it.

It would maybe branch out half-life to more casual gamers? I can't think of any other reasons.

well i for one really want to see it on wii, also, toasterman, hvnt y u played REDSTEEL

Wii sucks, should've been a peripheral for the Gamecube and not been it's own damn console

i'm not sure but i think portal would be good with the wii gun but the aiming would be tricky

Half-life 2 would easily run on the wii.

All FPS's on the wii suck. It would be horrible.
I would buy it anyway, though.

Have you ever played an FPS on the Wii? My stepsister's boyfriend lent me Far Cry and I didn't even make it half an hour in before I couldn't stand it any longer. The controls were just painful.

Depends on the game and how well implemented the controls are. MP3 on the most sensitive setting is one of the best ways to control a fps that i've experienced - they really are superb, and better than a mouse and keyboard when it comes to looking around/movement/jumping. I wouldn't choose them for a twitch aiming shooter, but for an immersion driven explore em up, they are the daddy.

If any game needs to be ported to the Wii it would be Die by The Sword.

Halflife on the Wii would be awesome if you could use the Wii-mote to beat people with the crowbar!

FPS's on the wii rock, Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 and Metroid Prime 3 both control great.

KB and mouse > Wiimote and nunchuck > Analog Sticks

I think a half-life game would be cool on the wii.

Cant' believe no one already knew this has been achieved a long time ago, and it took Pitz in post 20 to set you 'supposed' fans straight. I'm very disappointed.

Shitty port it was, but the motion sensor is really too ****ed to be used at length.

Metroid Prime 3. Controls far better than any analog stick I"ve ever used. It all depends on the game.

Could the Wii even handle the old Source Engine?

Ah yeah, I remember when the wii first came out someone made the wiimote work with HL2.
And that you could use christmas lights as a sensor bar.
