Half Life:Source, Download ?

Will HL:Source ever be available for download in the near future because for those who want to experience HL1 in the Source engine but didnt buy silver or gold from Steam we cannot currently get it, if it is not going to be available for download im gonna be pretty p***** off and so will many others.
This also goes for DOD:Source, will that be available for download ?

You mean download like purchasable/pre-loadable via Steam?

Well, when both DOD: Source and HL: Source are made available for purchase seperate from the Silver / Gold Packages (as well as the Collectors Edition), probably.

If i have to buy them from Steam then i shall (Seperatly away from the packages) but if they will be released in Retail like the original DOD then that would be pretty good.
