When I get to a certain part of the game (the part where you fall through a pipe on to a table) the whole screen turns into little white boxes! I can see some of the things in the room but mostly white boxes. If I walk down the hallway the game restarts to the menu and If I try to load the game again it crashes! I've tried turning my settings down and I have tried 2 sets of drivers.

Oh and how do I make the screenshots smaller because I can't post them on here because there to big.

Thanks :)

i can only help you with that second part. download "irfanview" (google it). its really easy; you open the picture up, resize it, and then save it

jeeez, thats trippy. what kind of card do you have, and for that matter, what are your computer specs? is it only in hl:s that it happens, and does it only happen at this point in the game? has it ever happened before?

sorry for all the questions, but its good to know all that stuff

haha, ok.

I have a Radeon 9100pro and this only happens in Hl:S. For some reason this only happens at this one point of the game. I get an error saying "map 0 should be 19" or something similar.

The Radeon 9100 IGP Pro is an integrated ATi chipset, so you have an onboard ATi DirectX 8 generation graphics board, that I'm not sure is supported by HL: S, but probably is. You'll want the latest drivers, keep in mind, for that particular chipset.

The newest ones, but I've tried it with two different drivers.

Maybe switching my DirectX will work.
