how many tentacles?

Should only be 5. 3 in Blast pit and 2 in Interloper in Xen.

Acutally there is 7.
There is one in the mine field from Surface Tension, and there is one more on Xen (just before you meet up with the third Gargantua).

where do you meet the first alien slave?

In unforseen consequences. You come up to a metal door shortly after seeing the g-man, and it starts getting bashed outwards by a slave that teleports behind it (pounding on it with dents, then it destroys the door and you see it. This is very close to where you first meet houndeyes.

You meet the first Alien slave during the accident, when you are transported to Xen. There are 4 there.

Tough questions. They work better when it isn't multiple choice.

Really don't know this one :/ My guess would be in Questionable Ethics when you release two of them from the containment thingies that pop out of the ground when you press a button, not sure though.

nop you release one right at the beginning, when you first see him inside a cage like thing. just aftr the initial houndeyes.

This one is again unlimited as the first area that Nihilanth teleports you to has a couple of them in the water. Think there are 2 there, not sure, I've only ever been to those rooms once (when I first played the game).
Other than that, I can think of 3: 1 at the dam, 1 in the crossbow room (should be the first you see) and 1 in that weird tunnel area that says West on signs with some turrets around and barnacles.

there are 2 in another room in apprehension though you dont need to kill those. oh and i think theres a dead one in blast pit when you fall through the hole ocntaining the tentacles??

Mostly a guess, but I think about 3 or 4. I never use them because they suck.

4 imo, 3 small ones and one big ones that you can ride into apprehension.

how much is the maximum charge in terms of ammo the gauss can hold before 'overcharging'?

how many alien grunts are airdropped by those funny flying thingies?

what is the sequence of the teleporters to go the right way in lambda core, where you have to go up a tower of tleporters.

Good point. Although, if you want to be -really- anal about it, one teleports in even before that. It teleports into the air, says "die" and starts charging up, then is teleported away again.

Gauss charge - mainly a guess, but I think 12.
No idea how many grunts, probably about 10 though.
Can't remember the teleporter one.
Is the osprey the troop carrying one? Can't even remember where it is in that level - the bit where they keep coming and landing troops into that airfield part perhaps, then the grunts break through a door and start killing them?

5. Just before Surface Tension: he's in a big glass tube and escapes - scary stuff.
