I don't think I've seen a Half-Life series Trivia, so I thought I would start one off while we wait patiently wait for Half-Life to be released.

Rules:
- The trivia is based on the Half-Life series (not mods).
- The person who got the previous question right, has to ask the next question.
- Do not ask another question unless the person who got the question right does not reply.
- Only start the next question if you 100% sure the answer is right. If your not sure, wait for confirmation from the member who asked the question.

Okay I asked the first question and Kristafon got the question right. Now its his turn to ask the question. I don't see whats so hard to understand?
 
It wasn't his turn to post a question, it was the guy who solved the question first. Usually you'll have to validate your answer but for easy questions like these you could just aswell put the new question in there.

It would be neat if there was an IRC Half-Life Trivia channel.

There is this big thing pointing into a pit.. How is that a missle silo? Probably just an experimentation chamber used to heat things to extreme temperatures, who knows. (And the fact that the entire thing is surrounded by coolant. (Green glowy stuff)

Although a very novel idea, and one that I'd love to see work, I really don't think it is to be honest :)

I've seen it work on other forums, but it doesn't seem at the moment that its going to work. Also, there was a female character in Half-Life 1? :p
 
As there, strangely enough, seems to be some misperceptions about the "Blast pit" map the original Half-Life (HLO cooler than HL1 ;)) I took in on myself to explain what "it" really is. It's basically a place where the scientists test rocket engines. Simple as that. It's not a missile silo nor a extreme temperature facility.

EDIT: People, don't ask a question until you have answered the one, and are sure it is correct. "Hologram lady" doesn't cut it. He asked for a NAME.

I was looking more along the lines of 4 names.. Of each scientist.. They are one word names.. "Codenames" if you will.
