Half-Park

Dhoco X, dont be mean.
Thats his and his friends hard work, dont say it sucks.
It isnt a waste of time, be nice!

I remember when the guy who did Half-Park was putting up his images here as he did them, another site of his here with the episodes on http://www.quirkybastards.net/halfpark/half_park.html

Everyone thought they were funny.. still are. Dhoco X is just in a mood cause a link to his warez forum was deleted

PipeMasterHL: great stuff, still funny, tell Samuel to do some more episodes :D

Yeah, SamuelK is what I know him by. I will see if he is working on anything new. One of the other guys, named Sargoth the Souleater, said he was gonna try to make a flash video using the characters. But he's never done anything like that before so it could be awhile.

As for Dhoco X's oppinion... I don't have any problem with what he said, everyone has their own thoughts about others' creativity.

OMG i remember doing that a while ago i made some kind of southpark thing with myself in flash, but the video was too fast and it annoyed me so i stopped doing that ^^ (it was flash 3 i think)

If anyone here wants to make some, here is the url for the "tool" ... http://images.southparkstudios.com/games/create/index.html or you can just use paintshop.

If you do make one, I'd like to add it to my collection. Post it in this thread or email it to me at [email protected]

I used to do mine in Corel Draw as vectors. I'd "planned" to do animations later so having all the pieces in vector format would have been handy for taking into flash or a 3d program (yeah a 3d program:)) never did get around to it though, lost interest after I'd done a load of characters, found it difficult trying to keep things funny, another reason I like Samuel's half-park, much much funnier than I could have done, i was crap with the funny stuff, always have been :)

If anyone plans on trying animated ones thats probably the best way with vectors instead of bitmap, less hassles later on and can build up a library of sorts with all your pieces. If I still had my originals I'd have let you have them as a base to start on

Looking forward to what people come up with though, and still waiting for another episode of half-park! ;);)

nw909, looks good I added it to my page.

I would have liked to see your characters Fenric, too bad you din't save them to disk or something. Can the jpegs be changed into vector images?

yup seen it on another thread, he posted it the other day

the barnacle costume he came up with is brilliant. How many of us are wishing we'd thought of that in time to wear to some halloween party? :)

Converting jpg files back to vector images is simply impossible. When you convert a vector image to a jpg, you basically merge all the layers into one background image. And this can't be reverted. I found that out the hard way. Pipemaster, you probably remember that Darth Vader avatar I made once. Well, apparently I forgot to save it as a pps image and directly saved it as a jpg. Felt kinda pissed off when I realised this.

Yeah that sucks, So if you wanna use the vader in a flash film youll have to make him all over again. :(

My freind SlimReaper here, has made a little Flash movie and I have hosted it on my Page since he is having some problems getting it hosted. Just goto the links section of my page, I have to link to my upload folder in my ISP. *shrugs*

http://home.comcast.net/~pipemasterhl/wsb/html/view.cgi-home.html-.html

But SlimReaper might have gotten his hosting fixed by now, so maybe he will post his link also.

he already posted it, an hour ago i think, not sure exactly when.. thanks though :)

oh, I don't browse around the threads much, so I didn't know he already posted a link. Thanx for not biting my head off. :)
