I'm using a Expert mouse pro trackball for looking and Ch F-16 combat stick for movement. My question is can I modify the Ch F-16 stick to move in all directions like right and left or is this better kept to default with the joystick setting --- (joystick left/right movement to control turning?) I usually just use the trackball for turning left and right and am thinking it would be better having all direction movement on the joystick. If anyone has a config file that will work with my CH F-16 they can share let me know.

Why use a joystick for a fps anyway :S suerly it is 10x easier to use a keyboard lol, never in my 10 or 12 years of gaming have i heard of someone using a joystick to play an fps with :S

I have..I know 3 people who use joysticks..4 now..

I say down with Joysticks! Up with keyboard..

Oh, and you might wanna bind a key to the alt strafe, meaning once you hold it, you can strafe..

Well I started out with the Spaceorb, then the Panther XL. Since the company never brought out the Panther XL Pro I went with the next logical choice a Kensington Expert Mouse Pro and a CH joystick. A lot more fun than Keystroke combos and if used properly an excellent way to game. There use to be whole sites dedicated to the use of these Joysticks combos. I'll have to look again to find the sites. For a person making a switch to an Orb or Panther combo it takes a little while to learn but once you do.... you may not go back. I didn't.

Trackballs are good for taking out of their sockets and sticking in your eye like a large freaky monocle. Then you go and jump out at someone and yell "ooga booga booga!" Works best if you find two, but then you're blind and can't see their reaction, and that sucks. All other uses are secondary. Some people have them connected to their computers; I have no idea why.
