HalfLife2.Net Counter-Strike 1.6 Server

We really do need an American server.
Not that the lag prevented me and Pressure from pwning burnzie and Letters. :p

Here's a suggestion: since the server isn't always populated it would be better if the server ran silly maps like jeepathon, knife arenas, and other car maps. Disable the awps and auto snipers and you're guaranteed to have a laugh.
 
I have a server located in america, thinking about cs'ing it up a bit, what do u guys reckon?
 
ive just came back from school and i want to PLAY SOME CS.

also, custom maps are crap, use normal maps.

and tbh, we dont need a US server. all you americans can lag for all i care :p

can veterans of hl2.net community (1,000 posts and up) get admin small priviledges??

Nope :)

Because then it'd be a race for everybody to get up to 1000 posts. To be honest, you're lucky we even let you see your post count.

What about organising a match with some of the Valve guys and HL2.net guys?

Here's how it could be setup
Someone emails Gabe/Greg/Eric/Doug anyone about this, asks which (If any) Valve employee's have finished their part on HL2 or if they have time off. Then one of the admins here or one of the guys at Valve start a server with a password. The admins decide who plays with them (because we don't want them swamped) and then organise a time or something.

It'd be cool. If we could get it working of course

There are actually 4 people playing right now, if anyone wants to join us.
 
The Valve staff are too busy for things like that at the moment.
 
i am trying to scare up a game of cs right now... i'm in the server spray painting walls and crying at being so alone there.

I just did. was playing by myself for about 5 rounds.
Then 2 guys joined up and I was owning them alone as a t.
Well most of the time, pretty good considering there were 2 of them.

Then I got bored and left.
