Anyway, my favorite HL2Net memory is when we all made fun of Lemonking.
 
I remember when everyone was pissing on knghenry, those were good times. :LOL: Then, the knghenry altnernate account witchhunts started... D:
 
Anybody else remember that one day where some guy made at least 5 threads in every single forum, each just spamming his account scheme thingy.

The threads were titled something like "DODS BETA OUT NOW!". Inside was a link that lead to a blank page on his Lycos hosting that had two textfields, one saying "email address" the other saying "password".

God, that was an awesome day. I remember me and a few other guys were racing to make a post in every single one of those threads.

He had like, 20 posts, each of them were threads with the same thing :D
 
Supertrooper, biozeminades, Hordon Freeman, Spitcodfry being the first outsider ever to see the Valve offices, EvilEwok/EvilEwok 2.0/WickedEwok/Brassmonkey/Psuedonym/who knows what else, extreme, faubulous, Munro avatar craze, false gold announcement (Gabe's password was 'gaben' lol), I feel great, and many more. I'll post more when I remember them.

The funny thing about that particular incident is that I only banned one person (hi bvasgm!), and not the 3 or 4 others that everyone was whining about.
 
I remember when everyone had my old Starcraft avatar all at the same time. I wish I had that avatar now. :(

what i kind of remember the most have to be related to HL2 though. anyone remember the supposed easter eggs in the binks that gabe spoke of? people came up with these ridiculous suggestions as to what could be it. like there's a toilet in every bink etc. and all the gman = freeman things.. screenshots and decoding of the weird text before G-man speaks in the ending of the e3 video.
lol, i think i watched that video over 30 times. good times.
