HalfLife2.net on CNN

hehehe thats awsome

always good to see game news on the big channels :D

lol, that's really old :p anyways, I don't know why hl2.net was portrayed when she was talking about the availability of the Source Code in "Chat rooms", here anything to do with that subject is shutdown :)

Yea, she made it sound like halflife2.net was a chatroom distributer of the source code.

hey if they didn't have the permission to show the website, u guys at HL2.net could sue. because it does kinda make HL2.net look responsible

Or not...

It was showing Gabe's post on the matter... seems appropriate to me...

Letters, not everyone knows what Gabe posted, for the average Joe they could assume that he was blasting us for distributing the SC as was mentioned...

i bet CNN would settle for a large chunk of money if u guys took them to court.

But then again the average Joe does not care about stolen game content they never even heard of.

It's still the reason they would win very easily "in court" though... not that it would make it there. :p

Then again the webasite is on the internet. Whitch means everyone "can" look at it.
Its like being out on the street. people are going to look at you. You cant sue them for that. Now if you were in your home... then thats diffrent.

How would CNN like it if we made a video of their website and had a commentor spam "HARBOURING TERRORISTS!" in the background?

i would so bang that chick in the first vid ;x

lol ;) jokin...

cool stuff

even if it was showing gabes announcement, ppl would still think this site is responsible.

They would probably ignore it.

Why would they ignore it? We put that video on the news page, and you know how many people will see it?

Thousands?

Thousands?

Exactly. Now would CNN like thousands of people believing that they harbour Terrorists? No.

Someone should just email them about it....but it probably isn't that big of a deal we should expect ignorance from them.

yea we should've expected this from the ppl who terrify young americans with anti-republican war stories.

No, from people who don't spend half their lives on the internet checking forums :p
But yah that too. My post count is 1337!!!!!

most likely when they were handed the story to the anchor, the anchor had no idea what HL2 or the source code is. but still news scares ppl more than it informs ppl.

I did a paper about violence in the news and on some places violent news stories were about 80% of the stories!

news is too long aswell, i was told a long while back it used to be about 15 min. now its an hour of crap.

Its funny how their words are nearly the same.

umm teleprompt?

You dont actaully think they make it up as they go along..... every word is written for them.

i wanted to see some of the footage i heard about when they reported on the hackers getting arrested and their summer release date.

CNN seems to have taken quite an active interest in the whole HL2 scandal. Maybe that's just my view from England but it's unusual to see.

Very cool, now all we need is Foxnews to interview Abom about his methods of crowd control.

And I wouldn't worry about the CNN thing, its old and obviously nothing ever came of it good or bad. It's not like we've had any more death threats than we normally get anyway ;)
