The Politics section is an abhorrent mess filled primarily with those on the far left and far right. Names like No Limit, Cpt. Stern, baxter, and gh0st are extremely common on every single thread within, with an overwhelming amount of threads leaning to the left and being contributable to the likes of both Cpt. Stern and No Limit.

You guys are getting it deleted, and also the Vortigaunt Revolution and People's Democratic Republic are not at all big enough forum things to warrant a post.

Needs Short Recoil quotes.
 
I just put up a bunch of quotes from various people. Nothing by Short Recoil though.

People who don't know the truth should stop editing the wikipedia. It's already horribly mangled the truth, it's going to be nice when it all gets deleted. Plus apparently the members of our beloved site are far too immature for a real entry.
 
If you guys are really serious about keeping this thing from being deleted, you should push the angle that, through Valve's "tests", halflife2.net was the site of some of the most intriguing pre-release hype for one of the biggest PC games of all time. Linking these tests to the trend of viral marketing popularized by ilovebees might help you out as well.

This makes us not just a fansite, but a part of the Valve and Half-Life 2 mystique - arguably just as legitimate as the release date fiasco and the code theft.

Those are all just random quotes I saved at one point or another with the intention of using as a sig. After a while I had too many so I decided to just save them for the funneh factor.
 
I changed short recoil's title bit to the man, the myth, the semi-legend. It reads better that way :p

no no ..I didnt even notice my name was wrong ..I meant the sentence sounds awkward ..shouldnt it be "can be attributed to either CptStern or No Limit"

The wiki site is a fantastic basis of knowledge for everything, and your basically adding a pointless article which includes tonnes of personal jokes to us lot, that no one else will care about. Its the sad truth. If they delete it again, just take the defeat and stop winding them up please. It's not even very good, it needs just short recoil quotes for any type of hilarity.
 
guys no offense but some of the entrys are a little ...dull/stupid/immature ..do we really need a lemonking section? or the Tests section? if you want to sound important we should have included at the very least:

valve email threads

the "what's the meaning of the what's on the whiteboard at Valve"

Stopkill.com ..when mechagodzilla challenged Jack Thompson in a battle of wits which our Mecha won

try not to mention some of more stupid/immature threads ..focus on the positive
 
Why not make a wikipeg.

Everyone writes/draws something, sends it a designated person, until we have a nice set of images, full of shite, which can be moulded into a huge jpeg and then we can host it somewhere and look at it.

i feel its important to mention a line or two about GhettoFab and how he got the ghetto into the game so to speak :LOL:
now i know hes not popular with everyone but if u take it with a grain of salt, it added light humor to a site which needs some :p
 
Bah.. dont do it on wikipedia, just get munro or someone to host a communal wiki on hl2.net. then it will be moderated at hl2.net instead of by randoms at wikipedia.

it would be the hl2.net forum history book/bible..
