Halo 2 for xbox 2?

Ok with all the news that just surfaced recently about microsoft switching to ibm for their next xbox instead of pentium... I was watching tech tv today, (nothing else was on) and they were talking about this and they then went on to say that microsoft said the xbox will be released at the end of next year!! And the release of halo 2 fits in their somewhere... so who thinks they will hold halo 2 and use it as a release title for the next xbox? Speculate...

I also read about the IBM + release date thing. They should release Halo 2 for Xbox 1 !!! Not for Xbox 2..

The are releasing halo2 for Xbox, if only because of XBL. Also, if microsoft releases Xbox 2 at the end of next yewar, their chopping the legs of off the current Xbox.... they generally have a 4-5 year life... Also, sony still is stuck with thier cell tecnology for ps3, so why rush it?

I heard this thing somewhere that the ps3 will have a supercomputer for a processor, able to calculate 1 trillion calculations per second. That thats powerful gaming.

multi console games have all the consoles weaknesses implemented to ork on all consoles. i think it'll work best on Gcube though, if you look at it Gcube is pretty damn powerful.

I am the proud owner of a Gcube. It's so nice and compact and friendly and cute and it has the prettiest graphics and it's practically more powerful than my current PC! And it has Metroid Prime!

All the Halo 2 demos were run on Xbox SDK computers and looked damn good. The Xbox is definitely still capable of some pretty graphics (for a console).

As soon as HDTV's become cheaper and consoles start putting out images that rival the PC, I'm converting. This PC crap is getting way too expensive.

Xbox 2 isn't planned untill 2005-06. Halo 2 is due out april 04'. I've read the offical Bungie forums and haven't seen anything remotely like this being discussed.

I don't think there is anything to be concerned about.. After all, buying a new console isn't like forking out thousands for PC. That's why console's win.

eh... ps3 and the psx or whatever bug me, sony is trying to make the ultimate machine, i just want a gaming machine, not a cell phone/cheese slicer/blah/blah/blah/gaming console, just focus on the games!! And an animator from bungie who i've seen post in another forum says halo 2 will be out "when its finished" and there is no real release date... Tech tv said the xbox2 should be out at the end of next year, im thinking it'll be here for xmas 04' seriously if you think about it, its just a computer in a nifty box, it doesn't really take 5 years to develop a console, and i bet MS want to get a jump on the competition...
