Halo 3 parrying PlayStation 3 launch

like people said it wont affect it imo as most people who will be buying as ps3 WONT already have a xbox360 unless you're an absolute gaming nut so why would they give 2 sh*ts about halo 3? i think the ps3 is a bit more exciting than a new halo game tbh.

It was mediocre at best the both of them in my books.

haha. exactly imo too. i tried them out on my friends xbox. i enjoyed the multi play on the xbox, but nothing revolutionary since i'm a pc gamer. halo 2 appeared to just be an updated halo, more like halo1.5 instead of a bonafide sequel. it had some nice options for multiplay, that's all. most of my xbox friends agree.

although i haven't been a consoler, i'm actually considering getting my feet wet now. xbox 360, ps3, revolution? if i get one it will probably be the ps3, since it will probably be backwards compatible with the plethora of great ps2 titles. but the 360 looks really powerful. so who knows?

This makes me more worried than anything else. It means that theres a set-in-stone date set for when Halo 3 has to come out, and Bungie has never been good at hitting those dates. It makes me hope they're either going to be flexible on the date if they need to be, or Halo 3 might have its feet cut out from under it.

or they could be done earlier and MS just wants to deflate the steam outta the ps3 launch with their h3 release by delaying it.

This will only affect people planning to buy both the xbox 360 and the Playstation. Im sure this will hurt the ps3 sells some, but It will mostly be temporary.

I will buy the xbox 360 ( and put a large peice of tape over the 360...what a retarded name) and whichever other next-gen console is technically superior. Not only in graphics and power but in what it can do that is different or better.


Oh and the PCs are god, gay=box and gay-station thing is getting really annoying. Equally as annoying as 12 year old kids whining over consoles.

I'll second that.
And it might be that this has been in development for a long time, but with Halo 2 having just launched so (relatively) recently, I find it doubtful.

I dont care. I'm excited for halo 3 though, its fun at lan parties and on xbox live.
