Well, pics of the Helmet are finally up.

I can certainly say I wasn't as impressed as I was hoping to be, Looks too round when compared to the videos. But, I'm sure it's a hell of a lot better than what I could do at this point.

WTF? Alright, I will agree that Halo was a great game and that it deserves every bit of respect it gets, but it was by far NOT a "landmark" game. It was, at most, a very well done FPS with wicked AI that is fun to play, but I can think of nothing it did that hadent been done before. (That is, unless, I somehow managed to miss playing half the game).

Could someone please fill me in as to how these people coudl possibly think what they do?

IN any case, that armour is wicked! I would shell out major money to buy a suit of it. And then shell out more money and pain at the gym to make sure I always looked good in it.

They need some money. It's perfectly understandable they flatter Halo and Bungie to earn the contract to make the E3 suit. And bungie knows it will have major community support if it does this.
So what if they suck up Bungie, we are in a capitalist world and their bussiness isn't going very well (i mean, 3500$! they can't be selling like pancakes).

I said they're going to make one!

They probably made the MJOLNIR armor first because Halo was coming out and they thought they would have more popularity this way.

Master chief's suit is about the coolest thing in HALO. .. Even if you made Gordon's HEV suit, you would have to put a Gordon look alike in it, or a wax replica (life size). now id like to see that .. some random guy in a HEV suit is daft. .. anyone can dress up in a Masterchief suit, but only Gordon looks right in the HEV suit, because.. its all we know.

Im sure they are made to order, so basically they dont spend any money until someone orders it. Obviously there is the cost of the first suit but thats all.
