I have this bad thing with my hand. Or wrist to be precise. It all started when one day i had to write some long stuff on the paper. I writed and suddenly my hand started feeling strangely. It in some way "died" and i couldn't continue writing unless i rested my hand a little. Since then sometimes when i write or type too much my wrist gets painful and numb. Anybody else had it?

1. Do you have swollen or painful joints?

2. Does this occur more frequently at night?

If you answered yes to either question you may have tendinitis or even carpal tunnel syndrome. If it only occurs when you are doing these activities, you have a precursor to carpal tunnel syndrome.

This is actually more serious than you might think, so you might want to reconsider how your work-space is set up. If it gets any worse, you should probably contact a doctor.

Non to both actually, but i have thought about contacting a doctor. Luckily it appears only after intense writing. Like 3-4 sentences non-stop written.

Yeah, that happens. If it starts happening even when you are not doing these activities, you might have carpal tunnel syndrome. Take a rest from writing or typing every now and then, and stretch your wrist and fingers.

3-4 sentences non-stop is intense? o_O
You ever taken written exams in anything?

This is what happens when you close misc. :|

Really though, this doesn't even qualify as a proper hl2.net thread unless you ask us for medical advice which we are clearly not qualified to give. So it's redundant pretty much any way you look at it.

Congrats, this is the first step in your transformation into Dr Strangelove.
