Yo, I'm back again. I started to model my latest idea. The hands I have modelled are kinda special and will open up into big machine guns (hopfully).

I have just finished modelling the hands/arms them self and I am now ready to go into development of the actual guns inside, these guns pop out when activated. If you have any ideas, talk away. Try and show me on a picture and I will try and imploment some peoples ideas into my work.

They are currently about 1000 triangles per hand/arm, which is quiet good to say how much detail I have. I am not really going for games modelling again, I am just bored and wanted some practice :D

Anyway I will shutup, here it is:

The nails are a bit thick, but other than that they're great. Hands are hard to texture - good luck with that bit.
 
Looking great Ichi, except the nails like FictiousWill said. The poly count is great with the amount of detail you have. Good luck on it. Oh, i have a question, how do you set up your lights?

Hmmmm, there are times when I don't model properly for weeks. But even then I normally open 3dsmax every day and make small changes. Most of the time if I'm not working in max then I am working in another 3d/3d application.

As you cans ee I am starting to create them into more of a weapon. I really like how its going so far. I just have to get an idea for the next stage :p

while I never specified cybernetic weapons, I think we should have a few. Can you make the flaps slightly smaller, have two on the top and one on the bottom, and then have some sorta of beam emitter at the end of all 3 flaps?

Here's the Trigun arm gun thingy, if it's of any use/interest. Similar concept I suppose.

Anyways, the knuckles are flat and there's like no detail on the top of the hand. Still better proportioned than what I do...:x

ye its really hard for me to add little details I would like to, but I just don't have that amount of polgons. I always like to games model no matter what. I supose I could try some high polgon modelling.... it depends really....
