Happy birthday America

Yeah, the so called "founding fathers" were awesome for their day but if they had lived today they would've been hated by everyone, because they would've been assholes in our eyes.

Not to mention that they would be appalled by our lifestyles, excessive liberties and government programs. The ideals of the "founding fathers" were much more conservative than anything we have today.

Their wisdom, though, was the fact that they laid an elastic framework in which our country could grow, and in which the liberties of the individual citizen would be protected from the government.

It's raining here, and I've heard on the radio that the fireworks might have to be postponed until tomorrow night.

America's grown on me recently, which I never thought I'd find myself saying. Britain's so dull, mainly cus it's so filled with the British.

Happy birthday America, still an overly misplaced arrogant confident teenager, the world holds its breath and waits for you to grow up and become a boring adult. :P

Naw I kid, happy 4th of July n shit, but I figure its more an excuse for fireworks and beer.

There was very epic hurricaneish storm that came out of no where at like 7:00. We thought the fireworks would go to shit.

But the British are so entertaining!

Maybe I'm prejudiced by knowing the British only through Monty Python and Zero Punctuation, though. :cheese:

Our fireworks were pretty awesome.

When I got home we lit one of these:

It was also awesome.

Pics coming relatively soonish.

I stayed home and played Area-51 and Stalker. **** you and your patriotism.

I like America. However, it's awesomness pales in comparison to my own fatherland. :p

American politicians suck.
/fixed*

Seriously, I don't think foreigners understand it's not America that sucks, but the douchbags currently in charge as well as the future douchbags in charge.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, we need a pioneer. Someone to oust the devious, greedy fools ruining our beautiful country for self gain. America is indeed due for a political enema.

Democracy is a double-edged sword, much like any other form of government however. After 232 years, politicians and lawyers have learned all the loopholes around everyone's freedoms and they exploit that knowledge to the fullest extent without remorse or sympathy. All for their own over-inflated egos and wallets.

This of course is all despite swearing an oath to serve whoever the current president may be by the time I become active to the end no matter the cost. (I'm a U.S. NAVY DEP reservist)

Nevertheless, here's hoping America pulls through these tough times for another 232 years.

(...I seriously doubt it though)

Lol, that made me laugh, which is rare these days for random youtubes.

Nice find.
