Today it's the darkest day on the northern hemisphere, and the lightest on the southern. The sun is now in zenith at the Tropic of Capricorn. So from now on it will just be getting lighter and lighter/darker and darker.

its extremely dark here in sweden right now isnt it? Im glad it will be lighter.. :D

My mothers going to Cairns for 3 weeks on the 24th. It's really humid over there, so I feel sad for her. Meanwhile we might be moving to Cairns around April and I don't think I'm going to enjoy that.

It's one of those climates in which that in winter you can be perfectly warm in shirt and shorts.
