Well, for me and my fellow Jews! :)

Happy New Year, and may 5765 bring us lots of good stuff, including Half-Life 2!
 
5765? Is that how long ago creation was...?
And why is the new year in september?
::doesnt know much about judaism::

well, according to the super religious people, yeah. But for everyone else, it's just since we've been keeping track. (for you lazy people, ~3700 BC)

Well, the Jewish calender is more closley related to lunar cycles.... and comeon, if we wanna talk about who came first, I should be asking why the new year is in Elul.

Christians believe close to same thing. Just with a lil extra unimportant book ;-)

I am a Christian. But my entire mother's side of the family is non-practicing Jewish. From what I know, that still makes me Jewish (since it is passed down through the mothers side).
 
yes technically you're jewish but you're such a ....devout christian ..I dont know, it took me by surprise
