the guy in the second video deserved what he got ..hold on sec, not morally but logically ...he knew engaging in a behaviour could result in one of x number of possibilities ..by commiting himself to the behaviour he entered into that world of possible outcomes ..unforetunately for him he received the second worst case scenario possible outcome. Gun ownership is a good example ..if you dont own a gun you have 0% chance of shooting yourself ..if however you do own a gun the chances of shooting yourself are no longer 0 as that possibility has entered the equation

Like I've already said - I don't think he was a good guy, I don't think what he was doing was defensible but I definitely don't think it was funny, or that it was ok to put a video like that on the internet like it was entertainment. That's not right.

While 90% of the stuff on there is just purely for snuff purposes, there is a LOT of material that is important to see/puts things in perspective or lets you see real stories of things that happened. For example: war footage, etc. News generally doesn't broadcast a lot of things.

I dont need to see images/video of soldiers/civilians/combatants getting various limbs blown off to understand what's happening in iraq. Those types of sites are for shock value alone because you can find as much information by just skimming headlines. For the most part they have a clear cut agenda and a POV to push. Ogrish, for example, mostly posts videos of beheadings/terrorist attacks, they seldom if ever post similiar videos involving atrocities commited by coalition troops. It's distictly one sided and isnt a very good source for news

I like my videos and pictures of people getting killed and harmed in horrible ways unbiased too. If I didn't feel sick everytime I saw the disgusting political bias that goes on at ogrish I might go to that site more often for my news.
