This seems sporadic when it happens, but when I try to access my drives in Vista, the window will just remain white and none of the drives will pop up. This is usually accompanied by some looping hard drive noise. After some time, or when I try to close the window, the explorer will have to restart. The odd thing is that this will only happen when attempting to access the drives, but I can still install things and use the PC as normally. Vista is installed on my new WD 640gb, and I'm using my older 250gb as storage. I've never had this problem before, nor can I find much information online about it. Any suggestions, or should I just try and get a replacement 640?
