Hardly-Visible Crosshairs

Is there a way to change the crosshairs to something more visible and/or larger than the default?

I'm having trouble with aiming, particularly when there's a lot of action on the screen...

lowering the resolution increases the crosshair size
be aware that this has no effect on the crosshair brackets

Not that I've found much problems with H-L2, but this crosshair thing imposes a slight "malpreciation" for me too. (Had the same problem with H-L.) The ability to change color, size and form of the crosshair would eliminate this minorly annoying issue. (Any mods anyone ??)

Um only thing I can tell you is to turn on the top check mark on the mouse tab. somthing about weapon info. makes it a little bigger.

I put a tiny little peice of sticky tap on my monitor over the middle of the crosshair. Now I can see it no matter what the background looks like.

try cl_crosshairalpha 100 or cl_crosshairusealpha
maybe cl_crosshaircolor works too dunno

At 1600x1200, the crosshairs are nearly useless.

1280x1024 and I've had no issues with blowing the back of Combine soldiers heads out.
