Hardware Question (Video Cards)

Okay, im in my sophomore year in highschool, unemployed. But I have a sister that goes to junior high and gets out 30 minutes later then me. And my mom got tired of picking her up. Long story short i made 300 somthing dollars off that. But shitty thing is, now she doesnt have a 6th hour and now i dont have to pick her up. Thus, unemployed again. So now I am applying at a gaming center thats relativly near me

Okay now for the real question
Should i get a radeon 9800 Pro 128 with the money I have now, or should i get the Radeon 9800 Pro XT 256. And if you suggest one, please suggest a specific card from newegg.com Thx :thumbs: :bounce:

It aint worth it by a longshot. So if you do buy one, I definetly advise the 9800 Pro...
Nobody really knows the future, but the next generation is just around the corner. If you dont care about that, go for the 9800 Pro. If you truly want the latest and greatest, wait a while longer...

If you NEED a new video card RIGHT now, go for the 9800 Pro 128. if your current video card is cutting it for you now, i'd suggest waiting until games like Half Life2 are released because that's when you'll need it and it will most likely be cheaper or the XT will be in your price range.
