24/7?

omg, what were they thinking, July 24th has negative connotations with 9/11:

"Larry A. Silverstein signs a $3.2billion, 99 year lease on the entire WTC complex, 7 weeks before 9/11. In it is an insurance policy which specifically covers acts of terrorism."

Those types of people completely ruined Lineage 2 for me.

EVERYONE LUV FREE GOLD KEKEK

I hate farmers tbh, I ALSO HATE SOUR CREAM AND RAISIN PIE GRRRR!

The funny thing is that most of those gold farmers are allowed to do their heinous tasks, but the buyers of the gold THEMSELVES often get banned. Saw it in WoW once:
Some guy gets a trade from a cloth nub and accepts. Suddenly, no more than twelve game masters show up and get out their Banstick Of Pwnageness (+10 Against Game Lamers). But they just let the gold farmer do his job happily, because he pays his account every 3 months, and isn't actually doing anything wrong.

Except the damn bots joining new games made very time. \=

That only happened to me once in a great while. There were points in WoW where I'd literally get multiple spams a day from various farmer bots, it drove me nuts.

I wish I had your luck. I'll be playing in a game, going through a baal run, and have at least 3 bots pop in, "OMFG COME TO VGGAMES.COM AND GET LOW PIRCED ITEMS!!"

*sigh*

Who the **** would waste their time farming for diablo2?

Someone who sells various items and gold on websites for money. People actually buy that shit too, I had a friend who bought one of the best swords in the game for some outrageous ****ing price.

Jesus christ... WTF. it's a god damned singleplayer multiplayer game! And by that... I mean the scale isn't epic.

WoW farming ads ingame have cut down alot, I think due to Blizzard bansticking some accounts. Back in the day once a week atleast I'd get a website spammer's raid invite, and spammed messages.

I haven't had a farmer ad since I beat someone to a rich thorium vein and they sent me a half dozen tells in farmerspeak (chinese I think), I believe saying they would pay me to give them the arcane crystal if it dropped...

I doubt it's as big now as it used to be. I mean, when my friend did that, it was back when Diablo 2 was pretty much at the peak of it's popularity. I've been playing it recently just for shits and kicks, and it doesn't seem to have the community it used to (and yes, that's both a good and bad thing).

It was still the same as it is now. I remember when I preordered that game... diablo 2, and diablo 2 expansion pack. The game was awesome, but anybody who bought stuff for it is ****ed up.

"I'm going to play an adventure/roleplaying game... where you search dungeons killing monsters and stuff to find rare and powerful artifacts. But I want to expedite the process... i'll just pay somebody to play the exciting parts of the game for me, and have those items delivered into my hands without any effort, except a huge dent in my wallet."

People just drop me free stuff. >D

I remember I used to start servers called "Rat Race" where I would hide a large sum of gold somewhere in the world and then once I had gathered enough noobs I'd tell 'em to go find it... Funny as **** to watch 'em scroundling (is that a word?) around looking for it, desperately.

I had nothing else to do in the game, was as rich as hell, so why not.

Sounds too slow. They were trying to cover as much ground as they could as fast as they could.
