Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

That is the most ugly name I ever heard, plus the books are going dawn hill.

Why the hell does the series always start with Harry Potter 'and the'?

Stupid and unoriginal if you ask me :-/

Also, i never read the books... the movies were okay for kids I guess.

the movies sucked, (well I haven't seen the latest one, so I can't comment on that :)) but the books were interesting imo..

The 4 were nice, 5 was one of the worse, I mean comon they never go to the bathrooms, and plus Harry must be gay, he never talks about chicks.

LOL!! they never go to the bathroom!! haha Adrien, you rock! And I think that Harry does talk about girls at somepoints in #4 and 5.

Dude with all his popularity and in a boarding school!! man he could have so much chiks that he would have to use his wand...

but there's probably someone always watchin'... they got MAGIC. I wouldn't so much as take a piss in that school.

The last movie is supposed to be even crappier than the frst two. By far.

I hated the movies but the books are quite readable IMO.

Uhh...actually the latest movie was about 100x better than the first two.

Still not as good as the books though.

First movie was OK..Second was a little bit better...third movie sucked to hell. However, I think that the books are very good and I intend to read more of the Harry Potter series.

<JonJonB> Purely in the interests of science, I have replaced the word "wand" with "wang" in the first Harry Potter Book
<JonJonB> Let's see the results...

<JonJonB> "Why aren't you supposed to do magic?" asked Harry.
<JonJonB> "Oh, well -- I was at Hogwarts meself but I -- er -- got expelled, ter tell yeh the truth. In me third year. They snapped me wang in half an' everything

<JonJonB> A magic wang... this was what Harry had been really looking forward to.

<JonJonB> "Yes, yes. I thought I'd be seeing you soon. Harry Potter." It wasn't a question. "You have your mother's eyes. It seems only yesterday she was in here herself, buying her first wang. Ten and a quarter inches long, swishy, made of willow. Nice wang for charm work."
<JonJonB> "Your father, on the other hand, favored a mahogany wang. Eleven inches. "

<JonJonB> Harry took the wang. He felt a sudden warmth in his fingers. He raised the wang above his head, brought it swishing down through the dusty air and a stream of red and gold sparks shot from the end like a firework, throwing dancing spots of light on to the walls

<JonJonB> "Oh, move over," Hermione snarled. She grabbed Harry's wang, tapped the lock, and whispered, 'Alohomora!"

<JonJonB> The troll couldn't feel Harry hanging there, but even a troll will notice if you stick a long bit of wood up its nose, and Harry's wang had still been in his hand when he'd jumped - it had gone straight up one of the troll's nostrils.

<JonJonB> He bent down and pulled his wang out of the troll's nose. It was covered in what looked like lumpy gray glue.

<JonJonB> He ran onto the field as you fell, waved his wang, and you sort of slowed down before you hit the ground. Then he whirled his wang at the dementors. Shot silver stuff at them.

<JonJonB> Ok
<JonJonB> I have found, definitive proof
<JonJonB> that J.K Rowling is a dirty DIRTY woman, making a fool of us all
<JonJonB> "Yes," Harry said, gripping his wang very tightly, and moving into the middle of the deserted classroom. He tried to keep his mind on flying, but something else kept intruding.... Any second now, he might hear his mother again... but he shouldn't think that, or he would hear her again, and he didn't want to... or did he?
<melusine > O_______O
<JonJonB> Something silver-white, something enormous, erupted from the end of his wang

<JonJonJonB> Then, with a sigh, he raised his wang and prodded the silvery substance with its tip.

<JonJonJonB> 'Get - off - me!' Harry gasped. For a few seconds they struggled, Harry pulling at his uncles sausage-like fingers with his left hand, his right maintaining a firm grip on his raised wang.

I never liked Harry Potter. The films were rubbish, I don't expect the books to be any better. Especially when I heard they were almost scene for scene.

i thought all three films were quite good, they are entertaining and u can imagine enjoying them as a child. I havent read the books, im saving them for retirement.

The books were turd, and the only good thing about the 1st 2 films (haven't seen #3) is Alan Rickman massively overacting - frigging hilarious :)

I didn't like the films that much, but book #4 and #5 are ok. But nothing special.

What? Movie #3 was the best of all of the movies. 1 and 2 sucked ass, books 4 and 5 were good, 3 was ok.

LOL, haven't laughed so hard in a while. The movies don't really appeal to me, but the books are pretty good. Will be looking forward to the sixth book.

Yea movie 3 was the best!!! (I want that executioners axe SOOO BAD!!!)

Never read the books yet. Gonna do that soon though.

I really enjoyed the books, all of them. The first and second film were terrible in my opinion. I haven't seen the third yet, although it looks like it may actually be good. As far as the new title goes, I think it sounds good.

Wow, such a market gimmick Harry Potter is. You guys do realize these are pretty average quality among fantasy books. They're decent, but nowhere near the best.

Also, once a crowd was hooked for the first book, Madam Rowlings knew she had a loyal fanbase who would buy the next 6 books, probably go see the 7 movies, and you know what, (you guys can quote me on this one) there will probably be a prequel, and another SERIES for when Harry Pot-head gets out of school. Not to mention movies for all of them.

Golly, how on Earth did Rowlings make the Forbe's top 100 celebrities list?

I rant, I rave, but I will probably end up reading all of them.
The movies, I'll be 2 years behind everyone, but I'll watch them for free on TV.

Like I said, if you think "HAIry PoTR RoxXx" you're missing out on a whole genre of literature which is far better.
