Well, theres a better picture of what I imagined in one of my White Dwarf magazines somewhere. Basically someone under a black cloak and hood, a golden eyepeice with electronics in and stuff, etc. He was still a damned cool character, though.

I read half of the first book and saw the first movie and I can say without a doubt, Harry Potter is a good story, with a shitty, SHITTY author at the helm, made into an infantile movie that sucks. I refuse to have anything more to do with this atrocious series.

Rowling's writing may not be Pulitzer Prize quality, but she does have a decent sense of humor... which is more than I can say for many, many great authors.

Besides which, Hogwarts is literally built out of Awesome.

Not having seen the movie yet, I've always imagined he looked like that creepy gravekeeper from Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, who oddly enough seems to have a "mad-eye" of his own

Yes the end would probably be terrifying i'd rent this one from blockbuster then decide.

I like the books(I think Harry's a bit of an asshole in the latest 2 though) but I hate the films.

Just downloaded it and saw it. It was the best of the movies, but that doesn't mean it's good. They only had one scene where Potter actually went to class. The books rock though...

Saw it today. It was ok, fairly enjoyable. However most parts felt rushed and poorly put together, pacing was pretty messy.
