I can't see it until Monday :(. Blah, I can't wait.
 
I don't even know if I'll be able to see it. Ever since AMC bought our theater, they haven't showed anything good. The closest theater showing A Scanner Darkly is about 45 minutes away.
 
I'm guessing it would show in pretty much any non-arthouse theater, it's a pretty big-budget flick.

I'm going to go see Lady in the Water first. Probably in a few minutes...
 
Hopefully I can see it Sunday Night if I get home in time. I haven't been this excited for a movie since Star Wars 3...
 
omg, i watched this last night and it was funny that i nearly chocked on my own spit.... best movie of 2006...
 
This movie is amazing. I absolutely loved it, and I was expecting a lot from the sequel to Clerks. It's much more in line with the original Clerks and Chasing Amy than his other films, which is great. Honestly, this movie did not disappoint at all, I thought it was absolutely great.

A friend I went with loved it about as much as I did, this girl hated it, and another friend of mine was pretty much neutral. But if you like Smiths other films, especially Clerks and Chasing Amy, you should love this movie.
 
I don't remember hearing of Clerks, but I did see the previews for Clerks 2, it looks funny. I want to see it.

You should DEFINATELY watch the original Clerks before watching Clerks 2. The movie is a hundred times better when you understand the characters' histories.

And Clerks 2 was an awesome movie. It's the kind of movie you appreciate more after you've left the theatre. Jay's Buffalo Bill dance was classic.
 
The same of VirusType2 I have never heard of Clerks 1. I want to see the movie though.

No seriously my Cinema isn't playing Clerks 2. I'm gonna have to drive 45 minutes - a hour there just to see it. Ooo then I get to drive back.

It's worth it. Easily the best movie I've seen all year. There were countless hilarious moments, and it was totally shocking, and managed to be even raunchier than the first one. I even got choked-up at the ending, and so did my friend.

Seriously, it's Kevin Smith's best movie, and arguably the best comedy I've ever seen. It's also one of the few movies that the audience clapped for in the credits.
 
How about that big midget mel gibson guy who randall made fun of so badly that he puked? That character was brilliant.

Excellent movie.
 
It was funny at the beginning. Especially when they made fun of lotr and transformers. The vagina troll bit was one of the funniest things i have seen.

But the end was... kinda... homosexual. If I were looking at it from Randals point of view, Randal and Dante were a bit like Sam and Frodo... if you know what I mean.

Nah, he'd love Chasing Amy! He'd probably identify well with Jason Lee's character Banky :D
 
this movie scored 8.3 on imdb, a better score than Clerks (7.9)...
 
I still laugh anytime I watch it and I've seen it well over 20 times or so. You should definitely check it out.
 
Yeah, Clerks is one of those timeless movies that never really gets old. I always seem to notice a new joke or gag everytime I watch it too.

I was merely pointing out the irony. They make fun of LOTR for having a emotional ending, and then they make their movie have an emotional ending.

And I am perfectly secure in my sexuality... I dont see how not liking an ending because it was sappy (which didnt fit in with the movie what so ever) makes me an unsecure person. Please think better. Thanks.

This is not your typical stupid movie, this is one great funny movie that anyone can enjoy, no matter what. i didn watch clerks 1 and i still got the jokes.
