Hollywood's trying to bring all these old movies and comic books and other stuff to the mainstream.

Either that or yes, they've been outsourced.

In other words, has hollywood completely run out of ideas to the point where they ruin everything near and dear to me that they rape my childhood? Yes.

Hollywood has no ideas left.

They aren't raping my childhood. DBZ, Akira, GiTS, I only count the first one as part of my childhood and even then not really. Plus, I LOVE when they ruin that shit. Makes my day, because I get to see mad Japanophiles and that fills me with happiness.

They've got all these new comic book movies coming out and I haven't been anything but optimistic about them. Even Iron Man, and I hate Tony Stark. I hate 'im. But his movie looks ballsy. Wolverine movie? It's got Deadpool and Gambit. Watchmen movie? Hell yes. Ozymandias' costume is suffering from Batman nipples, but it's alright. Storm movie, I'll watch it.

Hollywood reaching into the nostalgia well of my childhood, coming out with all these movies based on old cartoons; I have yet to be disappointed. "Well, what about Speed Racer?" you might ask. Speed Racer doesn't even factor into my childhood, that's somebody else's childhood, so they can ruin that all they like. I don't even care. All the things Hollywood's been making so far off of licenses from 20 years ago, though, when I was growing up? That's stuff I want to see. That's things I like. So yeah, they've tapped their creativity well and they're just thinking right now, "What old franchises can we get the licenses to and make a movie out of them that will rake in the cash?"

And they can keep on doing it 'cause as far as I'm concerned they're doing a damn good job.

Oh and I love Uwe Boll. He can keep doing what he's doing too, 'cause he's funny in an unintentional way.

Must you upset me so darkside? :(

I'm kinda with darkside here. I grew up with the amazing Marvel/DC cartoons rather than DBZ and that crud.
