Have editing options changed?

There used to be a 15 minutes limit to editing your own posts and you weren't able to delete your own posts.

Have these things changed? I wouldn't mind if I couldn't delete my post, but a time limit of 24 hours or no time limit to editing my post would be very nice. Sometimes something pops in my head that I want to add to my post, but isn't possible because of the time limit :|

You now have 24 hours to edit your posts as you see fit. I believe deleting your own posts is enabled as long as it's not the first post of a thread as that will remove the whole thread.
