It's not that I don't like the ultra violence, or that I don't appreciate Frank Miller's work, or that film noir gets on my nerves. It's just that I did not like Sin City. I waited five months for this movie and I was convinced that it was going to be great and that I was going to love it love it love it. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I just hate it when this happens. Perhaps I should avoid unrealistically high expectations from now on. That, or they should start making movies that live up to my expectations. Cinema is not what it used to be, and that's a shame. Give me Clint Eastwood and John Wayne anytime.
Edit: if you disagree you are probably not a movie buff, because movie buffs like myself know how to tell the good from the bad, and Sin City is bad.
