I'm trying to find a HD monitor around 17-21" but having no luck.

Does anyone know of any? Anything I should look out for when buying a HD monitor.

Thanks,
Mutley.

are you talking computer monitors, or televisions that double as monitors.
if its a first, its already hd
hd resolutions
720p(1280x720)
1080p(1920x1080)
will be harder to find this one

look, HD isntjsut res

to Be HD Ready you need to have HDCP built in )high definition content portection_)

without that u dont have a hd ready monitor

the other element is the number of pixels up the screen, if its anything fo 720p up its hd, even iff its only 2 pixels across,

so the likely hood of u finding a hdcp <22" monitor is minimal

true for the hdcp, but who knows exactly where that is going right now
and 720p stands for 720 pixels up by 1080 across.

also high def is just res
High-Definition television (HDTV) means broadcast of television signals with a higher resolution than traditional formats (NTSC, SECAM, PAL) allow.
right out of wiki.

being able to view certian things at highdef when protected by hdcp will require a monitor, and most likly a player as well that has that built into it, but it is not require to view all high def sources
he just asked for a monitor that would do hd
