HDR problem

So I gave HDR a test run on EP1, and it runs fine. But there's a problem. For some retarded reason, it constantly goes from off to full bright. What the hell?

Same happens to me only in bloom mode in Dust 1 on CS:S

do you mean when you turn and then it kind of blinds you but goes to dim again? thats normal if its doing that. it gives you the effect of "real" sunlight

That's it, but even if you stare at the sun it CONSTANTLY does it. Looks so stupid.

There's nothing to show but HDR off, and HDR on. It never did this before.

i would just forget about hdr m8. U need a better card and more ram, u should just use bloom for now.

Screw source HDR, I can't stand things changing brightness when my own eyes are supposed to do that for me!

I don't know about bloom as I've never really tried that option...

Ooh, I remember this problem. The solution is buried deeply within the Lost Coast threads. I think it had something to do with console commands.

Yeah, I know, but it runs really well! I'm getting more ram in a couple of days.
