Could anyone tell me what is the lowest price I could get one for?
I've asked google nicely but it won't tell me.

I'm also looking at HDTV's now, what with an Xbox 360 on pre-order and all that a HDTV would do nicely...i just don't think my tiny little 14" or whatever portable TV will cut it. What is the difference between 720p and 1080p? which does the Xbox 360 support?

Edit/ Oh also, does the Xbox 360 work with PC monitor's because my LCD screen on this PC is nice?

(Sorry if it seems like im hi-jacking the thread Jangle, i just don't wanna start a new thread for a similar subject!)

720p is 1280*720 resolution, 1080i/p is 1920*1080. However, the Xbox360 only supports 720p and 1080i, not 1080p. This really isn't a problem, as only the newest and incredibly expensive HDTV sets support 1080p.

If you are thinking of buying a 720p or 1080i capable monitor. Then I would suggest that you buy a video projector. I currently have a video projector thats capable of doing 720p and 1080i.The cheapest good LCD/DLP projectors cost like 1200€ but you can get a pretty good one with 2000€.

Ou and to those who are wondering what the 'i' and 'p' mean, well 'i' stands for interlaced and 'p' for progressive.
