What should i be looking for in HDTV's? i'm getting an Xbox360 for my 21st and i want my mum to buy me a HDTV also, but i don't have a clue about them, any help would be appreciated. Whats this 780p and 1080i business? Thanks.

720p (not 780) refers to the resolution of the display.

720p = a resolution of 1280 x 720 (p stands for progressive display.. i.e. the image will be displayed in whole images not halves interlaced together).

1080i = a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (i = interlaced)

Basically as far as HDTV goes anything that can display 720p that has at least 1 HDMI socket and you're in good stead. Samsung TVs are a popular choice at the minute.

Thanks, i'd love a 32" but it'd be just to big (weird, i know) because it'll be pretty much in my face (eventually, when the 'novelty' of the 360 wears, it'll also be my PC screen), i'm looking prefferbly for a 24" HDTV. I think about £550 is the max she's gunna spend. Whats http://www.comet.co.uk/comet/html/cache/455_274488.html like if you know? I know it's only 20" but its cheap enough and from what i know now about HDtvs (which isn't alot :P) is it has the same ressolution as that Samsung.
