Headcabs endangered?

I think it's a fair assumption, seeing the way they move and all.

I think it's a fair assumption, seeing the way they move and all.

And seeing as how they can conduct electricity through their bodies, use telepathy and teleport. Sure, it's a fair assumption cause they freakin' walk upright, we're exactly the same...

Also, it's a good assumption that the vorts have their brain in their head, and not anywhere else on their body, but this cannot be confirmed. Also, how would the headcrab know where the main neural lines are going through the body of the prey? Do they have some sort of vision, like the mosquitoes know where the veins are going under the skin (infrared)?

All they need is a connection. IIRC originally the headcrabs were supposedly going to attach themself to any round surface on host (sketches of zombies with a headcrab on their elbow do exist) but apparently it changed in some point to "attach to the blob on top of creature and hope it's the right place" mantra for headcrabs. Most commonly that's of course the right place but not always...

As for neural connection, all they need is a connection, even the tip of a toe will do as long as there's a nerve. It's just way more succesful to crush the skull of the humanoid-under-zombifying because if you try to attach to someone's toe, you may get kicked.
