Yo, I have been developing a character for Corporate Anarchy model and I am going to do what I did with my last Light Infantry model. If you never saw the topic then basiclly I posted devlopment pictures of nearly every stage of development and because of people commenting it helped me devlope the model very well. So I am starting it all over again for another model. This what it looks like at its current stage, all comments are welcome. Please try not to just say "wow that sucks" or "wow thats amazing" without explaining why. Thanks!

The legs are ok, but the body sucks.

hey Ichi, ive seen this design and its really nice, i was planning on using the references too. anyways, enough blah...it looks sweet, youve got a nice style as usual, but theres a few things im not sure about. the knees, im guessing the stuff around the shins and thighs is some kind of metal, so when he bends his knee...well he wont be able to :p.

the other thing is his shoes, they look a little fat at the back and too rounded on the front ( for my liking anyway ). last thing is to do with the knee area i just noticed, the back of it. extending my theory of the metal, i guess you should bring the strip going along the back of his knee and the top of this calf muscle down, to make it easier for animating, but the all depends on what you do to the front of the knee. anyways, hop i helped make your lovely model even better, and i cant wait for more updates.

The part that covers his ankle/a little calf seems to go back a little bit too far. Looks odd IMO.

this

this is the concept model for the police. Quakeulf did something like 4 version before reaching this ultimate badass concept. Ichi definetly has a hard act to follow.

Quakeulf also did these reference drawings...But because the reference drawings were before the final police version, I think ichi is going to have to make some artistic choices and deviate some from the reference drawing.

looking sweet, i was thinking maybe have some kind of metal plating over the knee caps? dunno just an idea :p

Thanks for the comments so far, I have already noticed loads of problems with the model to concept. There was a comment on the boots, I know they are kinda large. But I kinda like this in a way, because the guy is wearing armor it can give the Cop a sense of density. The worse thing I could ever do was make a ut2k3 model, I mean. I really hate the ut2k3 models and animations. They wear loads of metal and heavy armor but seem to be like flys. Its really anoying sometimes and kinda gives the whole style of the game a kinda... unrealistic feel. Most people don't actually think theya re thinking about it, or maybe some people just don;t care. But it makes the game feel so wrong sometimes. It doesn;t really feel like your killing someone.

Hehehe, went a bit off track then. But maybe someone will be able to understand what I mean.

Unreal Tournament 2003

yes but just because its set in the future and its unreal it doesn;t mean that metal weights like litrally nothing. The whole point in you having metal on you and heavy armor is give you a feel of power and to show how combat has evolved in the future. But it doesn't really do that.

nice modeled so far, the character will have long legs, that's about all i see from the CA/model (CA looks a bit streched), for the rest, GJ!

It looks great, but the knees don't look like they will displace very well when they bend. The armor over the back of the knees looks to be the problem.
Thats my only gripe with it, otherwise, it looks pro.

leeks really sweet, but constantly have your mind on functionallity... go fix those knees :)

I like it, but you might want to make it a bit more "heavy"

Work the ancles and shoes out more.
