Heheh, cheaters get owned!

Just thought someone else had to see this. It was posted on the Steam forums.

Its funny as hell. This guy set up CS servers and advertised them as Cheating servers without vac. He then made anyone that connected to them redirect to a Vac secure server he set up.

Anyone that goes on his servers gets banned!!!!

I just find that funny as hell because quite frankly I am fed up of cheaters. I think most of them deserve this treatment. :thumbs:

LOL, I was just playing CS1.5 on a Zools.net Server. The CT Player Named [SKD]=SKELLY is dam cheater, his score is 50 and his death is 0. he kill everyone in 1 Min, one shot and you are dead.

I think they should try banning this server. its full of cheaters. :s

I always play on the ix.cafe iceworld 24/7 server (my name on there is //.87 |.EX ''/_) and whenever I see hackers on there, I personally call up the LAN in San Mateo, and have them personally banned, LMAO! Works almost all the time, too . Gotta' love it.

I have no previous knowledge of VAC, but one time my brother was playing counter-strike and got really frustrated. I came back in his room, and he had glowing rectangles around the terrorists (He only plays as a CT.) I never ever liked CS, so I played DoD on my own computer. I have never used hacks before in any game. I would sometimes join servers and be instantly kicked or returned right to the menu. I always wondered why and it pissed me off a lot.

By reading that, I now know that I have trouble joining servers because my brother downloaded a cheat, played on a secure server, and got me banned as well (we are on a router.) So this means that when HL2 is released, I will be banned from protected servers also huh?

Is this the correct explanation, or do some clan servers only let certain people in? Does VAC stand for Valve Anti Cheat? Is there any way I can fix this? By the way, I am extremely against cheaters :flame:

Cheaters are annoying yes, but its not cheating if the server is "supposedly" meant for that kind of thing. Its true when that person said its not fair setting people up like that. Obviously if they cheat on normal servers then they get what they deserve but if someone was joining a special dedicated "cheat" server just for a little fun, variation of gameplay, then its not right getting them banned. If the server says, "hacks allowed" then they shouldnt be banned for using them.

It only then bans them from VAC secure servers Farrowlesparrow. They can continue playing on their cheater only servers if they wish. Meh, I just despise cheaters so much I could not really care any less about them. :frown:

I see what you're saying, and it's not fair that he's misleading them.

HOWEVER. "Cheat-enabled" servers are the biggest load of BS ever. What is the point of cheating if everyone else has the same extra advantages as you. I believe this is how most of the cheaters feel, they only have the cheat so that they can beat the non-cheating players more easily. I believe the majority of cheaters are still going to regular servers, and therefore they should be punished.

They get what's coming to them. If they can cheat to win, why can't we use a little 'cheat' to trick them into receiving the punishments that they deserve.

Good riddens to those cheating ****ers.The only people I hate as much as Cheaters are those idiots how will accuse you of cheating 30 -secs into the game because you happened to kill them.You all know the type.
And if your on a server with a twitchy/power crazy admin you'll generally get kicked(EVEN if VAC clears you)I say cheat detection shouldd be turned over to VAC and their should be no stoping it.Let it run non stop and catch every cheat.Also how bout make it invasive so it can piggy back into a server that isnt normally running it(Ie cheating server)
