Helicopters ok :) but why can't i fly a mig

I found the 101 tactics very usefull but a helicopter I can already fly.
I have problems with the mig and f16?whatever.

I can take off fly around but when I'm losing al little altitude/hight I can't go up again he keeps getting slower and then I crash.
Also I keep going out off the batle screen because Im flying to fast.

What speed/hight do you guys use.
How do I control a MIG? And why can't I go back up again after I lose some hight, please help I p:bounce: ractised a lot of times but I keep crashing.

So no tutorial about the helicopters but about the planes pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I have never landed an airplane. I always jump.

Which is the plane where you're two? Is that MIG?

yep, if I go low to shoot a base and I want to go up again I crash..
Also when I lose a bit of speed I can't go back to flying faster.

Are you using a joystick to fly planes? If not, it is really the best way to go. If you are, check your calibration, especially the throttle control.

I have a logitech extreme 3d but I don't use it because I don't know how to configure it so I have a mouselook everything else works accept that, If I walk I can only walk forward or left right, I can't (mouselook) look around or turn. That's why I still use the keyboard and the mouse.
I mailed logitech but they don't have a solution

If you know the solution to that walking problem you would help ,me with another problem I've looked in the game options also Then I can finally use my new joystick lol also

For flying normally, I stick at 730-700 MPH. For bombing or strafing runs, I slow down to about 450-480 MPH.

if you feel like you are losing speed after a bombing or going in low you should use the afterburner, that will get you speed real fast.

as for landing i found it easier to go a ways back to get it straight, then if you feel like your not going to make the landing use the afterburner till you feel its right, and you HAVE to keep your nose up but not to far back cause then you'll hit your tail

You are slowing down because you are stalling. (I think that term is appropriate in this case anyway)
I'm guessing that when you are pointed downward and going slowly, you are trying to point your nose back up and have the throttle key pressed down?
Your not gaining any speed because you're splitting your power between gaining speed and also gaining altitude, when you're travelling slowly and already losing altitude, you're gonna have some problems. When this happens, just go into a small dive (if you have room, otherwise...I dont know lol) and hit your afterburners, after a couple seconds try pulling up. You should have gained sufficient velocity to do this.
Good luck, just keep practicing, it takes a while. Also, if you have played Desert Combat, Its a little like flying those jets, but much more realistic and therefore harder lol.

Are you sure your keeping the w button pressed, casue at first i forgot that always and crashed.

Yep I double tab de w button for extra speed and then I hold it down...:rolling:

woah, afterburners...learn something new everyday! I can't kill anyone with the planes..I can get like 5 kills with the Attack Helli..but..thats all. I really CANT fly

I hope they add a real transport helicopter in the future. It would be able to transport 20 people at a time, wouldn't that be awesome? Big responsibility for the pilot, but still...

I'm always going full speed, sometimes even over a bit with the afterburners, except when I need to get some repairs, so I slow down a bunch over my airstrip. Other than that, I do everything at the max speed without a problem.

After some practice, I am now able to bomb and fly at 900 MPH. Did well today. I got one TK during bombing, and I was punished. :|

When bombing you just have to make sure to come in at a steep angle, depending on what you are targetting.

when i was the gunner in the helo i shot a tv rocket at a tank and a whole squad was right next to the tank, next thing i knew it said that i had been punished by all of them but i wasnt kicked...can anyone explain?

Same way eith a heli, just tap the s, and when you go t high releas it, and hwne you are to low press it.

Anyway as war as Planes are concerned i always just keep w pressed and fly full speed.
