The first one was decent, but the comics are way better. Hellboy 2 should be decent.

Bah, it was a seriously underappreciated movie, and was quite extraordinary for being a comic movie.
Mike Mignola and Guillermo del Toro have been talking about the new one for a while, I think the last I heard is they want to film it this summer.

Hellboy was very cool. Only thing i didnt like is they werent that many villains. The intro was crazy tho. Cant wait for Hellboy2.

It was the plot really that I couldn't follow, the actors were alright, especially Ron Perlman

Yeah, it probably requires a second viewing to really nail all the details. The directors cut helps a lot since it can spend more time on the background.
